Review of Krissh

KRRU(I)SH THE EVIL.

Today the second nominated film we are going to review is a sequel to a path breaking sci-fi blockbuster. Papa Ban gaya Hero for our Duggu when he announced a project which zoomed drowning career of Hrithik Roshan. The project was called as Koi Mil Gaya. It was a bold attempt to make film inspired by E.T. and Forest Gump. The industry took the step after 20 years of release of E.T. and surprising were results. Jadoo not only created magic at screen but also helped the film to sway away with all awards. Well , the director papa Rakesh Roshan decided sequel to it. A comic book hero who is often the inspirational hero for most of children. Thus, Superman riding on Batman’s back came trapped in Spiderman’s web to Bollwood.
The plot was on Krrish(Hrithik Roshan) who is son of Rohit again Hrithik of Koi Mil Gaya and Preity. But his parents die at early age and he is raised by his grandmom (Rekha) in a village in North India. In childhood, he and his friends on casual play discover that he possess some extra powers not seen in normal human beings. He grows up in a protective world until a day he meets his heroine Priyanka Chopra while saving her from accident. He falls in heads over heels for her. They sing songs and have romantic scenes till a day she announces her departure to Singapore. After much emotional talks Krissh manages to convince his grandma to allow him to follow his heart in Singapore. But, little did he know that in Singapore a crazy Doctor played by Naseerudin Shah who has discovered something very weird and is on the way of destroying the world. But then our super hero manages to stand against him. Next we see is magnificent images of camera and computer magic work as sequences of battle between good and evil. The good wins over bad and the movie is done.
The well scripted movie was in safe hands of Rakesh Roshan who has written script well along with others. The handling of film is brilliant and director clearly has advanced from his previous films. Hrithik prove his a talented actor with ace acting skills. Priyanka Chopra acted as if she was extra. Rekha was good in what she had as a role. Naseerudin Shah has never let us down in acting well mind that not talking about his direction. The film had excellent cinematography and inexplicable actions. Stunts were bewildering and Hrithik did par justice. The film only flaws in lacking attraction and holding capacity for some adults. The film has 2 other nominations. The film is worth watching for Hrithik s sake. Go get up Hrithik s fans and vote for him now if u like the movie..
